With more than 400 local, national and international clients, including the HSE, DAA, Taxback, RedC, Aer Lingus, and Coillte, Datagroup was initially set up in 2010 following a research programme into creating employment for individuals combating disability, social exclusion and marginalisation. At the core of this initiative was the concept of matching ability to task. This ensured that every member of staff, regardless of their physical ability or disability, could work together as equal members of a team. Collectively this team would focus on delivering a professional, cost-effective and quality-driven service to many of Ireland’s leading indigenous, multinational and State organisations.

Commenting on receiving the award for Excellence in Providing Total Document Management Solutions within the Public Sector, Liz Breen, Operations Officer said, “At Datagroup, we invest our time, experience and values into the core operations of each client’s business. We take time to understand their specific needs and we design and deliver tailored solution to meet and surpass their requirements.”

Brendan Ennis, Chief Executive of Wexford Enterprise Association added, “Datagroup is one of Ireland’s leading social enterprises. CSR and social advancement are at the core of who we are. A major element of our inclusion strategy is to create an even playing field for those within our community combating disability, marginalisation and social disadvantage.”

We nurture ability through social inclusion and our staff values are founded on principles of fairness, equality and integrity. We are proud to have built a team of professional, dedicated and specialist individuals, 50% of whom face physical challenges on a day-to-day basis. With gratitude, I accept this award on their behalf and sincerely thank our loyal and valued clients for believing in our vision and supporting us to push the boundaries of integrating social enterprise and social advancement.”
